Secured $1M grant from the Bloomberg Philanthropies Public Art Challenge for the City of Houston and Midtown Arts and Entertainment District to support HueMan: Shelter, a project which brings together artists and individuals experiencing homelessness to create powerful visual stories based on their lived experiences with a goal of disrupting the perceptions of homelessness.

Implementation of the Cultural Arts Plan for East End Houston Cultural District, which includes creation of the Calle de Colores along Navigation Boulevard, a public and performance art program expanding everyday, accessible, local arts activities, investing in the local community, and creating a strong sense of connection between destination points in East End.

Building strategy for Houston's seven state-designated cultural districts to collaborate on shared goals and initiatives. Collectively the cultural districts share concerns about preserving, strengthening and sustaining their districts so that they, in turn, attract investment, economic growth and creative/cultural engagement for the city.
Cultural Launch helps creative placemakers (cultural hubs of all varieties) conceptualize, plan, and implement arts and cultural initiatives.
These collaborative efforts provide arts access, inspiration, unity, and enhanced quality of life to communities.
